Problem Statement
Problem: The office space Square Circle Design currently had was outdated, and they needed more space. In addition, the older office space was not partaking in sustainable practices. They needed to relocate to provide a better experience for their customers and employees.
Solution: Created a user-friendly space that welcomed customers and offered functional workspace while staying within building codes and LEED certified modifications.
My Role: Focusing on the ideation phase of the external facade, providing sustainable solutions,
Discovery
User Persona: Square Circle Design customers and employees.
Secondary research: Understanding green building certifications' unique criteria and benefits, including BREEAM and LEED. Research was also inspired by visiting green buildings nearby, like the Senedd in Wales and the Embassy of the United States in London.
Ideation: Set up into different phases, our main ideation was to create a welcoming floor plan for all types of individuals utilizing the space and eco-friendly facade that fits with the environment and site of the office space.
Final Deliverables
My partner and I presented to Square Circle Design firm in London to present what was possible for their future building. As a group, we orchestrated an interactive immersion exhibition to provide our classmates with insights and information on the processes we took.
