Product Design
As a designer with a background in architecture and a Master's in Design candidate, I bring a human-centered approach to product design. My analytical and spatial thinking expertise, sustainable design, and material exploration allow me to create innovative and functional solutions that integrate form and usability.
01: Tumble Weed
An interactive, sculptural piece designed for the home-blurring the line between art and object, allowing users to engage, adjust, and reshape it within their space.

Overview
While collaborating with Turf Design in Chicago, our design challenge was to create a viable, simple product in seven weeks using Turf's recycled 9 mm PET felt material, which is used for acoustical ceiling systems.
Objectives

Research
Involve hands-on experiments to understand the material's capabilities by highlighting how the material can be manipulated to provoke new ideas. This included thinning out, cutting, bending, and heating the material.

Ideation
My inspiration stemmed from biomimicry—the science of applying nature-inspired designs to solve human challenges. Tumbleweeds adapt to their environment to ensure successful germination; similarly, this project emphasizes adaptability and interactivity, allowing individuals to shape and engage with it according to their preferences
